Fall is here- celebrate the change of seasons at Media's 2nd Saturday! And, since 2nd Saturday is always fabulous and always FREE, you can't beat the price for a night filled with an amazing array of live music and original artwork! You don't even need to drive far, making 2nd Saturday eminently affordable for a date, to take out the family, or to go out with friends. So, enjoy the crowds, fill your senses, and start scoping out inexpensive but one-of-a-kind holiday presents at Media's stupendous shops! And stop by our Photography Exhibit Opening...

Media ICONS Photography Exhibit Opening:
A 2nd Look

ONE NIGHT ONLY EVENT! Tango 411 Studio - map # 51 6-9 pm. This exhibit is of juror-selected works from the Media ICONS Photography Exhibit. Professional and Amateur photographers from around the greater Media and Philadelphia area submited photography focusing on the "ICONS" of Media, PA. Works provided a "2nd Look" or an insight into something unusual about the town that might not be noticed upon a first impression of Media. This exciting exhibit is sponsored by First Keystone Bank and jurored by Stephen Perloff, Editor of The Photo Review, The Photograph Collector, and Focus Magazine. Space donated by Tango 411 Studio. This opening night reception will include refreshments and guitar music by Mark Oppenlander in styles ranging from classical to popular. Exhibit runs through Friday, October 17.

Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union - map # 19 If you missed him at July's 2nd Saturday, don't miss him again! Visitors will assist Performance Painter Colin Magness as he hangs from a scaffold to paint a large hanging canvas.

Children's Artwork

This month there will also be opportunities for young budding artists to display their works! The Media Arts Council invites all children artists to bring their artwork to the Franklin Mint during the hours of the 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll to hang in our mini "instant gallery." Six easels will showcase the artwork of young artists for all to enjoy.Use the map!
